The Water\/Wastewater Assistant Project Manager to be responsible for the day-to-day operations, maintenance and management, administrative duties, and maintaining close client communications.\u00a0 Employees who join Woodard &amp; Curran\u2019s staff find a culture that is welcoming, supportive, and empowering.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Assistant Project Manager will play an active role in the coordination and communication with assigned staff, client representatives, contractors, and any assigned engineering firms. He or she will also work closely with all parties to ensure effective system operation and optimization.\u00a0 The successful candidate will be responsible for performing hands-on work and producing all required reports.\u00a0 He or she will coordinate the on-going daily operation of the utility system.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>$90,000 &#8211; $110,000 a year<br \/>Depending on qualifications and experience.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Schedule:<\/strong>\u00a06:00am &#8211; 2:00pm and rain events.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What would you be doing at Woodard &amp; Curran?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Day-to-day operations and management of the facilities, including provision of trained staff 24\/7.<\/li>\n<li>Day-to-day operations and management of the remote communications network and assigned SCADA network.<\/li>\n<li>Implementation and management of an innovative predictive maintenance management program.<\/li>\n<li>Administration and implementation of all routine and capital repair and replacement projects.<\/li>\n<li>Emergency response for process upsets, equipment failures, force majeure events, all alarm events, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Provide onsite supervision during rain events.<\/li>\n<li>Provision of requested \/ required operations and compliance reporting to regulatory agencies and municipality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What would you need to succeed?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School Degree or Equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>Valid Massachusetts Driver&#8217;s License required.<\/li>\n<li>Must possess a valid Commonwealth of Massachusetts Grade 6 Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators license.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to make sound decisions in process control and follow instructions, as well as follow safety procedures.<\/li>\n<li>10 to 15 years\u2019 experience in managing complex water and\/or wastewater facilities.<\/li>\n<li>Experience overseeing operating budgets.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>track record with regulators.<\/li>\n<li>Successful candidates will be required to complete a background check, pre-placement physical and drug screen before employment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Statement<\/em><br \/><em>Woodard &amp; Curran is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
